We are building Trailflow from Prince Edward Island because the Island gives us a close community, direct feedback, and the space to do careful work. With support from Innovation PEI's Ignition Fund, we are turning an early logistics idea into software for carriers, brokers, and operations teams across North America.
Why we are building from PEI
PEI is not a temporary stop on the way somewhere else. It is where we are building a company, hiring and learning, and staying close to the people who help us improve. Relationships matter here, feedback is direct, and progress is visible. That makes the Island a strong place to build a company that can serve customers in other markets.
That local context shapes how we work. We have to be practical, careful with resources, and willing to learn from the people around us. We can stay connected to home while building for a market much larger than the province.
What we are building here
Trailflow is being built around a simple observation: logistics teams are often asked to keep freight moving through email, documents, portals, spreadsheets, and systems that were never designed to work together. The people doing that work deserve software that reflects how their day actually unfolds.
We are working toward a connected operational workspace for carriers, brokers, and operations teams. The product brings together dispatch, communication, documents, tracking, settlements, integrations, and AI-assisted workflows so teams can spend less time stitching systems together and more time making good decisions.
The goal is deliberately practical. We are not trying to build technology for its own sake. We are listening to people who move freight, testing what we learn, and turning real operational problems into software that is easier to use and easier to trust.
What Innovation PEI's support makes possible
Support from Innovation PEI through the Ignition Fund gives us room to do the less visible work behind a strong product: talk to customers, test assumptions, improve reliability, and build the technical foundation needed for growth.
For Trailflow, support through the Ignition Fund helps us turn early customer feedback into a stronger product for trucking companies across North America. That means improving the product, strengthening the foundation underneath it, and continuing to learn directly from the people who use it.
This support does not replace customer value or hard work. It helps us do the careful work required while we are still proving what Trailflow can become. We still have to earn the trust of the teams we serve and turn their feedback into a product that is useful, reliable, and ready to grow.
Building Trailflow and local capability
As Trailflow grows in PEI, we are building more than a product. We are building technical and business experience, creating opportunities to collaborate, and showing what an ambitious company can build from the Island.
Our progress depends on the people around us: customers, partners, advisors, and the local community. Their feedback and support help us make better decisions and keep the work grounded in real operational problems.

The logistics industry is broad, but its problems are familiar across markets. Carriers and brokers need clearer workflows, better visibility, and less manual coordination whether their teams are operating from PEI or across North America.
Trailflow gives us a chance to build locally while solving a problem with a much wider reach. The distance between PEI and the customer is not a limitation we need to hide. It is part of the story: a small Island team can stay close to its community and still take on a large, established industry.
